SIL Barcelona offered much more than an exchange of business cards: it brought conversations with people helping shape the future of logistics, maritime transport and international trade. For ShippedFlow, these exchanges are an opportunity to hear different perspectives and better understand the sector’s transformation.
Perspectives from the maritime and port community
During the event, we exchanged views with Mario Massarotti of Grimaldi Logística España; Guillermo Belcastro of Hutchison Ports BEST Barcelona; Salvador Richart of the Associació d’Agents Consignataris de Vaixells de Barcelona (AACVB); and Jordi Torrent, author of El Nuevo (De)Orden Mundial.
Each conversation offered a distinct perspective on changes in international trade and the challenges facing logistics and port activity. A shared theme was the importance of digitalisation in remaining competitive.
Listening to develop useful solutions
At ShippedFlow, we use these meetings to keep learning from professionals and align the development of our solutions with the real challenges facing customs agents, freight forwarders, shipping agents and logistics operators.
Thank you to everyone we had the opportunity to speak with for your time and for sharing your experience and perspective on the sector.
