On May 8th and 9th, 2025, I had the opportunity to participate as Business Development Director at OUA Ports in the 1st Blue Forum on Marinas, held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. This first edition established itself as a strategic meeting point for professionals in the port and nautical sectors, aiming to rethinkmarinas from a more sustainable, efficient, and territorially integrated perspective.
A shared vision for more resilient marinas
The forum addressed key issues affecting the present and future of marinas, including:
🔹 Port-city integration
🔹 New models of sustainable management
🔹 Digital transformation and climate adaptation
🔹 Governance and institutional collaboration
These focus areas are essential for developing resilient marinas that are open to the public andequipped to meet environmental and social challenges.
Commitment and collaboration
Participating in this forum was a great opportunity to exchange knowledge, build synergies, andstrengthen allianceswith other professionals and institutions working toward a more innovative andsustainable port future.
Special thanks to ASMAR, Marinas de España, Puertos Canarios and Víctor Montero for their leadership and excellent organization of this initiative.
